Interesting.... What is the main reason for swapping? Is there one stand out feature you need that the iPad can't deliver? Previously..

itunes basically, you have to use it to get anything onto the ipad...i also now have an andriod phone so it would be nice to compliment it with an android tablet..and its a good price as well. ... - .- -.

I can understand your decision Stan. In our house we have 4 iPads, 3 iPhones, iMac etc, but last week I bought an Android HTC One Mini to use along side my iPhone 5.

It is excellent, the software is clever, the processor is quick and the screen is superb. So I bought SHMBO a Galaxy S3 Mini and she likes it better than her iPhone.

Apple need to take the next leap quickly or it will be left behind, if its not already! Current MY2020

Sorry, I just hate apple. I had an ipod once and hated it and could see no reason why I had to use itunes. I don't buy into their whole apple lifestyle experience or markup.

I have four ipad's at home and four iphones. And a MacBook Pro.

A colleague was suggesting Apple's shares might be a buy here. My thoughts were that they still seem to be a bit Censored . The iphone 5 has no "must have" feature. I would be buying Samsung now if it weren't such a Censored to change (iTunes music, iCloud contacts, etc.). The latest iOS looks more like a retrograde step. The new iphone (due Sept) needs to be a huge leap forward to keep me loyal to the fold (and I had been a bit of a fanboy).

What browser does it use? That's great that it cost nothing to change. Previously..

I run Chrome as well and have iGoogle running (iGoogle stops in Nov). Very happy with my Note 10.1 (N8010) sofar. Bought one for the girls as well. I also have a S3.

Like I said my wife is very disappointed that the iPad is less usable than then the Galaxy. She studies distance at Massey in NZ and can't use the iPad while the Galaxy is fine for example. File management is just not possible while I can hook up a card/usb hub and move files all over the place.

No doubt Apple will eventually sort some of the stuff out but the sheer size of Android makes it the primary target for developers (and hackers cyber criminals as well). So the Android environment will become better faster and since threats are serious, the anti malware development is also picking up. I use Sophos for example and am researching anti-theft and other protection options as well like us Orbot for example.

Apple is no longer immune to malware and will soon if not already be on par with Android and MS etc. in the security stakes as well and then the closed ecosystem will work against it even more.

This of course is my opinion and expectation. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
