Alpha Papa: The curse of Alan?

Went to see this last night at last with my younger brother as we're both huge Partridge fans. Laughing

Coogan has always been a Range Rover fan, and he has referenced them many times in recent years in his material, and test drove a new RRS in "Welcome to the places of my life".

In Alpha Papa he says he dreams of having a brand new Range Rover towing a boat, and low and behold at the end, it comes to pass, and although it's not a brand new Range Rover it's none other than a Stornoway Grey pre-2010MY with SC grilles and vents and Jet interior - just like mine Very Happy

Weirdly, although Alan Partridge has killed off a number of cars as being sad (Rover 25, Rover 45, Lexus IS200 and the Ford Cougar previously as Gareth Cheeseman) it's as if the Range Rover is impervious to this and actually becomes cooler.

Back of the net!

I'm also a big fan. What did you think of the film?

The film was good, but like all Alan Partridge material will be even better the more times you see it.

There was some great laugh out loud moment, classic Partridge. Rolling with laughter Discovery 4 HSE
