Just tried to open the door using the key, turns both ways but nothing happens, locks ok with remote, any ideas is this an easy fix with the door card removed.

United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Oslo Blue

There's one cable from interior door pull to door latch and one from the exterior door handle to the door latch. if you arent seeing the door lock pin on the door card pop up and dowm with your key then something wrong with the key barrel rod/bar.

There is a bar that goes from the lock barrel and locates itself into the lock mech. When You twist the key it twists the lock mech.

I forgot to locate mine when swapping door locks and had the same problem.

If you haven't fiddled with you door lock I can't see how it's broke though as the bar can't easily come out unless you unbolt the lock mech and drop it down.

It is plastic so may have snapped.

10mins to take door card off And peel membrane back to peek up with a torch.

Thanks fixed it, it was the bar from the lock barrel not located in the lock mechanism, no need to take the door card off, there is a gromet on the side of the door which conceals a screw whch holds the part of the handle which has the key in, once undone it just pulls out, when refitting just make sure the bar locates properly.
