L322 aftermarket roof rack

Hi, wondering if anyone has tried this roof rack. The company claims it is a pattern part and is an exact match to the oem rack but at a far more reasonable price... http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=121144695054

Words look good. Maybe ask for some more detailed pictures if concerned. Also ask if you have to remove the cover plates in the roof to fit or whether the rack fits with them in the "up" position. Usually you have to break them out to fit a rack. Offers a better price than LR, but will they offer better value? .

I bought one at roughly the same price recently (not this seller) and have to be honest it looks ok but it is an absolute b*gger of a job to get the cross bars to fit, took two of us - think the measurements are out slightly, even when you adjust them down to the shortest length and the locking mechanism does not look like it will last or be much of a challenge in terms of security. Defo inferior product to OEM. I would probably have sent it back for a refund if I hadnt needed it the next day to go off on hols. Having said this it coped with 3 surf boards and a roof box, not attempted to take the cross bars off again but I need to as generate a bit of wind noise. You do need to break off the plastic roof channel bits which means I need to leave the rails in place.

Lads, this is not a roof rack per se, more a set of roof bars

Roof rack is the Safety Device made G4 one.

Yup, imagine it is a bit of a gamble... Haven't gotten an answer on whether the rack fits with the cover plates in the "up" position. They actually ship the official land rover documentation with this rack for install instructions, not sure if that is good or not...
