Funny you should say that Ryan , my old td6 had a heavy steering at low speed and the servotronic valve was replaced but it still felt like it could have been better but i got used to it...now on my new s/c the steering is worlds apart from the td6 , its very light at manoeuvring speeds ..its a shame your not nearer to me as you would be welcome to try mine. it could be just a coincidence and nothing to do with the oil leak but you never know....i would certainly take off the under tray as suggested to try and pin point the leak [if there is one that is] .. ... - .- -.

• Oil Leak - Engine - visible via discharge out of under tray holes. On closer inspection and stripping components, this was reportedly attributable to the front offside driveshaft seal which was replaced.

Might be an idea like I have just done & take a look around the filter housing at the top. Someone in my case had siliconned the bottom of the filter housing rather than replace the three "o" rings. I opted to replace the whole cooler assembly & it took about 8 hrs. My oil was running straight out the back of the V & gathering at the bottom of the gearbox. Mine is now sat back on the drive without the wife moaning about the mess!! |
