I have a daily morning wave exchange with a silver FFRR. We used to wave when we both had P38As and because we both have personalised plates when we moved up to FFRRs we kept it going. Never stopped to say hi though. I tend to wave at the same model type as mine so '02 - '05 grille and "acknowledge" newer FFRRs .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Funny thing is, when i drive my wifes car 110ish i get waved at constantly by other Land Rover drivers, now i know a few in the local area also drive FF's... I can take the kids to school in her car and get waved at by the same man who blanks me with both of us driving a FF the same day!!! Don't figure.......

Never in the FF (tried or received).

Pretty much all the time in my 110 and 88" Series LR's (wave and receive).

Oddly, and very unexpectedly, have just returned a hired motorhome in Scotland and was waved at (and returned) pretty much all the time by other motorhomes.

I also never got waved at (or bothered) when I had my V8 Discovery 1.

However, enthusiast Discovery owners wave when I'm out in the 110 and Series.

Never yet spotted a FFRR-stickered FF. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

I'd recommend a trip to the sunny Isle of Tiree, where everybody waves to everyone no matter what you drive, ride or pedal, it always takes me a day or two to get back to 'normal' when I get back on the mainland roads. No risk of anyone keying your car either, cause its just not the done thing and word of any 'issues' would spread quicker than a tweet on twitter.

I tend to get more acknowledgement from Defenders and the older Discoveries, but I sometimesto have to acknowledge first.

Don't think some drivers expect it from an L322, especially if you have a shirt and tie on.

Never fail to acknowledge a Range Rover Classic though..........it's only right.

Maybe us fullfattians should start a trend.

If you wave and they wave back chances are then that they are a member! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
