Strange noise in the wet

Bit of a weird one this, having been driving in some torrential rain over the past week or so, I'm hearing a strange kind of fluttering noise when I'm driving through standing water, or just really wet roads. The only thing I can liken it to is when you drive over a textured road with grooves in it. It's almost like the flow of water is being disrupted by something, but it's a regular frequency.

....and I'm starting to think I can hear a similar noise when not going through water! Whistle

Anyone got any ideas? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

How deep is the water?

Can you also hear a pinging noise followed by an echo?

If so, you're in too deep. Laughing

Otherwise, no idea. Sorry. Sad

No, its not the sonar that's fitted to the new RRS! Thumbs Up

We're not talking wading depth, just heavy water on the road. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
