Hi just wondering if anybody can help me with a problem I have on my 03 Vogue

Recently the driver's seat adjustment has become erratic - for example sometimes it will move the seat forwards, sometimes not, sometimes it will only move the backrest in one direction, and so on. Sometimes moving one control makes another start working, eg seat squab lift at front sometimes causes the forward/backward to start working.

I don't think it is the switch pack as even when the seat isn't moving as it should, there is an audible 'click' when the switch is moved.

Any thoughts? Diagnostic checks I can do??

Mine had similar problem last year. Worked a bit but only in some directions for a couple of goes and then when I had got it to full recline it stopped all together! Had to drive to the dealer with the seat right back. Coincidentally this happened the day it was due for a service and MOT.

They said it's a common problem with the connections in the seat back. Took a while to fix (a couple of hours I think) as apparently it's a bit fiddly to get at. After a bit of discussion they agreed to do it under the LR warranty - five years old at the time. 2012 5.0L S/C

Hopefully someone can help, my seat is only going backwards is there anyway of manually adjusting? It is now fully back and reclined and the garage is quite far away. I'm going to look like one of the youths that drive around with the tops of their heads showing!
