Norway 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver
Hello from Norway

Hi I have just emigrated from Belgium to Norway and imported my rr vogue td6 from 2003.
I have the car 7 years now and 375000km and besides the 3 transmissions, the water pump and the high pressure diesel pump I had not big troubles with the car. I am a mechanic and done a lot of things myself lucky because the prices here in Norway are ridicule high.

Coming back to the FF fold....

Hi all - having had more cars & bikes than I can remember, I've been hankering to get back to a FFRR of which I have had 3 - 1 classic 3.9 Vogue SE & 2 x P38 DSEs - I did have a flirtation with a brand new T3 Touareg Escape for 18 months and whilst it was a "nice" car, it just didn't feel like a £50k motor should...(and the VW service was appaling).....

Anyhow, I am on the prowl for a FFRR - BUT I cannot make my mind up where to pitch back in - started looking at the Td6 as a cheap & cherrful entry point (and soemthing I would not be afraid of having a go at servicing myself) but having pondered the prospect of taking a 7-10 year old motor & the more I read about the post-P38 scene decided I would be better off with a TDV8, only then to start eying the 2009 face-lift and then the bottom-end of the 2011 4.4 !!!! Luckiliy I do not like the "all new RR" - but I may well in the future Wink

So, this forum is an invaluable source to help me decide - there are lot out there to choose from & I want one that's been looked after with a decent spec.

Curently "roughing it" in an Audi A3 Sportback 1.6 TDi Tiptronic - 60Mpg & £30 to tax, and a Harley Fatboy lurking in the garage...!!!

Look forward to becoming a FF owner sooner than later and a fully fledged contributing member..!!!

ATB

Bob

Hi all.

Long-time lurker, now signed up. Long term petrol head (Lotus, Porsche, Aston) and a little bit of tin-top racing mixed in with sports bikes, who bought an aging P38 (manual) 4 years for 2k ago as a winter hack to avoid using my "nice" cars in the winter and sort of fell in love with the RR thing.

Venerable old P38 is on its last legs (o rings, blend motors, bushes, water ingress) - mostly spannered myself but the jobs are getting bigger and the will is fading so aiming for a 05/06 Petrol L322. Quite tempted by the SC version.

I'm sure you're a friendly lot. Live in West Yorks and run a digital agency (@Connected_uk)
