Best Mediterranean Towns for Campsites

Every year we do a European Tour in our Campervan and spend quite a bit of time in the Mountains & Lakes but his year we fancy a week or two on the Med Coast anywhere between Split in Croatia and the Costa Brava!

We appreciate there are many beautiful places a lot of which we have visited but during summer they can be very busy and camp-sites for larger Motor-homes are difficult to just turn-up at...

Therefore any first hand recommendations would be appreciated Thumbs Up

Love Croatia - was there twice last year for sailing. Sorry, no idea about camp sites.

i was speaking with an Italian customer last week, he was telling me that he just heads for the istrian peninsula (Pula is the big city there) and there is lots of good sites.
