About to go on holidays in UK and have air susp inactive

I'm about to set off on our 1st family holiday in the RR and on a quick trip to the shop the obc pops up with air susp inactive,

It's locked on normal ride height and the lock button is illuminated.

I sometimes get HDC inactive as well.

I've tried the lock to lock method but no reset.

Can anyone advise me on methods on how to try and sort this before I set off.

I don't mind opening up the compressor housing quickly.

I'm gutted as I wanted her all working for our trip. Leaving in 2 hours.

Heading from porthcawl South Wales to narberth west Wales.

No work on wheels or abs.

I did have radio on last night while I was playing with secret menus and radio equaliser.

But it started this morning with no issues and it drive about a mile without saying anyfaults.

I drove up a kerb and parked half on half off if you get what I mean, I knocked car off and the gong went and displayed the fault.

I've just had earth disconnected off battery for 15mins and it didn't make a difference.

I read somewhere recently (might have been on Rangerovers.net) that Range Rovers do NOT like being parked half on / half off kerbs as it confuses the electronics.

When parked on the flat, is the FFRR level or dipping slightly in a corner? Previously..

RR is staying level,

I've been put in touch with an ex LR technician who is plugging it in for me tomorrow to diagnose.

He mentioned that the compressor may have overheated and locked out!! But it could be a number of things.

Will update thread tomorrow. Costing me £25 for a plug in and read. Anyone local with software who wants to be friends for beers??? Mr. Green

£25 for a diagnostic test is cheap! I phoned 4 auto-electricians in Leicestershire and they all quoted £35 +VAT.

I had the Air Susp/HDC/no speedo faults and trust me, it will be worth the price as they'll find the fault immediately (mine was the N/S/R ABS/speed sensor). Cost me £16 for the part, fitted it myself (PITA!) but it's sorted. All the fault codes disappeared immediately I started the engine Thumbs Up

If I was keeping the car I'd invest in the diagnostic kit myself - well worth the expense. Cheers

Yes I'd really like the diagnostic stuff for myself as I've always bought it for past cars and it was inexpensive at around £10-20 for a eBay cheapy lead and copy software.

I have ebdbias and lead for my BMW so wondering if I could get it to work with the RR.

I can't justify £225 for the tool when I won't need to use it too often hopefully.

Anyone want to go halves on one and we can post it bk n forth as of when we need it?

Well my tech guy scanned it and it did lock out due to getting too hot.

He had the test screen up while the compressor was working and you could see it was taking sometime to build up 11.7 bar and when it did it was reading 90 degrees Celsius, my tech said they lock out at 95 or 97.

I also noticed when selecting 4x4 height it took a long time for the light to stop blinking and lock into 4x4 mode which shows the compressor is worn and having to work a lot harder to build the pressure up and consequently getting too hot.

Meerbusch has been pm'd for a repair kit.

Fault cleared and all working again for the moment until it gets hot again.

My tech guy is coming back next weekend to service the RR for me and he is putting new software onto EAS so it operates at 10bar and doesn't struggle so much but I did read somewhere one here that some mentioned software rated at 9bar, any advances on this chaps?? And can we confirm what works.
