One of the two fuel pumps have failed... Check the wiki as this has been covered many times on the forum |

so the general thought is its the pump inside the tank thats gone ? |

No, the pump in front of the n/s rear wheel. remove the cover and hit it with a spanner and it should come on for a few miles

It may well be an injector. I had exactly the same issue and it was an injector not the pump. The pump seems a very sensible place to start though. |

mmm ok so i just went out side and opened the panel , switched the ignition on and u can hear the pump running,runs for about 15-20 seconds then shuts down. it sounds like you can hear diesel getting pumped back into the fuel tank ? |

just changed the pump with a new one still a non started without easy start .((... leak off test next then .. how much is acceptable as leakage on these things as a matter of interest ? |

had the same fault a while back, turned out to be the immobiliser ews fault .

when shes already running (after easy start) do you still getting injection fault displayed? |
