Scotland 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Tonga Green
Air spring/strut

Hi there, what's the latest cost of a right sided front air strut? The prices elsewhere on line seem to vary dramatically but thought I would try you first. For a 2005 car.

arrived this morning and now fitted. Thanks very much.

Went the same as on the right up on here somewhere with just the lower bolt to strut a real b*tch to shift. Needed a 3 foot extender with pressure on then a few hard taps with lump hammer on the other side of the bolt after breaking a socket, defeating impact wrench and making me very sweaty. Then getting the bolt out itself was just as hard. Have LR never heard of copper grease or any kind of grease come to that?!

But once all off the new one goes on in a jiffy apart from a one handed removal of the seal in the engine bay while holding the new strut with the other hand under the arch at which point the seal did a nice coin toss triple salco and disappeared down the bulkhead somewhere never to be seen again!

And like others I left the old junction on the air line which screwed into the new strut easy as pie.
