foundry grey

Hi all, I have found a perfect match for the foundry grey trim found in the pre 06 cars, even know the 06 and on have foundry grey it is not the same colour, it has a green tint to it.
So this paints it for the 05/06 and earlier...
Some of the earlier cars suffered from the paint bubbling and chipped easy...
Best thing is this is high build and can be painted over the top of the old coating and will not react at all.

I'd like to know where it's from too. I could do with spraying my chipped trim. 2006 FFRR 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

ok lads, it looks even better in the flesh, same texture,
just need to be careful that you dont apply it too fine as it then has a rough feel to it

01472-488386
order number 0002/610066480
order date: 02/05/13
400ml custom colour
colour: STD [29 131 181] custom formulation
make: METAL

if you qoute my customer ref number along with your order all should be good as i have already paid the paint matching charge, try to refer to it as a custom colour as i am not sure he likes to refer to it as a landrover trim colour, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

the spray is quite good at covering but i did flat out the chips and gave the area a quick coat and let it dry then coat the whole trim. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Do you know what I can’t remember their name, just a blank white tin with the details I supplied, I think someone from here gave me a link and it followed on from there. it seems to be a bit of a unique finish for land rover as I have not seen it on anything else, not sure if there is copy writes on finishes but from memory he seemed to keep calling it a custom finish rather then land rover foundry grey, any way it is close as you will ever get, I tried a few paints but it’s the course metallic flake that hard to get , I tried textured paint and then went over with the foundry grey colour but you just end up with a course orange peel effect but this is bang on and the best thing there is no reaction with the original coating...
Well that’s another little trick found to tidy up those little chips and bubbles.
Just a reminder this is for up to 05 cars after that they changed their paint suppliers and the colour is different... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

paints for you is the supplier,

i just ordered mine with next day delivery and it came in at £19 so a lot cheaper than buying the covers from powerfull and keeps the interior in factory format.

Thanks again daveo, and a big pat on the back for coughing up the paint match costs. if i ever meet you i will buy you a pint and a pack of scampi fires lol
