FF's are very electricity-intensive, so you're better off switching the engine on if you're planning on using the electrics for those periods of time.

Multimeters are pretty cheap and easy to use, get yourself one and measure the battery voltage. |

Multimeter is deffo the way! Without one I would never have found the root cause of my battery drain problem.
