The product shown looks like it's off the Defender drop down menu on the left, not FF ?

In the RR menu is an ACM, but it's for '09 MY Rolling Eyes

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Ok, bluetooth fm dongley thing has arrived.

On first attempt it was a a bit iffy and kept dropping out on the iphone 5. Tried it with the old 4 i have and it was fine.....

So i left it alone for a bit and went inside to have tea. Came out, key in ignition and switch on, iphone 5 started to autoplay like it should through dongley without even removing it from my pocket. Just have to figure out how to get it to shuffle all tracks now.

Seems to work fine though i havent tried it when recieving a call, will have to give it a bit more of a test over the next few weeks to see how it fairs but signs so far are pretty good. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

this post got me wanting an fm transmitter.
thought I would show my pics also, saved a lot of money on getting an iphone adapter for a touchscreen as they are £400+.

so I had an old iphone 3gs in the draw at home, wiped it and just filled with music and now use it as an ipod. I leave it in the armrest and it charges it also. its a griffin ga22038 I paid £22.99 on ebay

you can control music on the transmitter itself and there is also an itrip app on app store, you can download to play the music from and tune in your station

I've got a Fm transmitter too, but I find the signal quality varies from place to place due to local radio stations.
quite good though apart from in position 3 in the photos above, if you go round a roundabout too fast or a sharp bend the iphone ends up on the passengers legs Laughing Bushy

I haven't tried this but the description sounds like it would work as follows. You use the A2DP bluetooth function to stream music from your smartphone to the gadget and the gadget sends it as an FM signal to the car stereo. This one you can install in the center armrest 12V socket so it is out of site while you have your phone in your pocket.

But like I said, not tested, just reading the description. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Im going to just secure it in the armrest with a car playlist. I just dont want it to drain my battery as its always plugged in

Hi DTaylor, have a check with the multimeter, most of the power sockets switch off when the ignition is off. Only the one in the boot is permanently live so you shouldn't have any issues but it is safe to just check. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
