2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey
changing the battery

yes....have read wiki about the disconnection procedure.
but can i put a supply voltage into the car (through the tow bar electrics) and change battery without going through the disconnection procedure?

I know what you are thinking.. So you don't have to reset anything.. But if any of the battery leads touch the bodywork or themselves then you could have problems.. You really don't want a live +ve lead floating about. Previously..

I had all sorts of little niggles disappear after fitting a new battery
I think it likes a hard boot every now and then
