Ummm.... Wink

Not the same grille, but this look is growing on me .

Well I for one think it looks much better with the grill surround colour coded, matches in nicely with the side vents.

I guess its all down to personnel preference, but in my opinion once you colour code the side vents then the front grill looks better colour coded to match. I am not keen on colour coding of the slatted non SC front grill but as the SC grill has some brightwork in the center having the grey border colour coded looks great in my mind.

Also colour coding the front grill surround will remove the 2 different greys on the front of your car ie lettering and grill surround.

But then again maybe I am biased as I just got my side and front grills colour coded.

Thanks Verydisco, car is actually Buckingham Blue, and when I bought it it had a solid coloured slatted grill which just did not look right to me. Much happier with this setup, got the side grills, door handles and full mirror covers all colour coded, had my reservations specifically about the front grill surround, but so glad I got the surround done. Like I said its down to personnel taste.

Here is what it looked like with the solid coloured slatted grill.

Thanks all,
Opinion is so divided I might as well leave it - for now anyway. This weeks spend is on new rear discs and pads and maybe a new calliper. (should that be one l or two)
Thanks again Thumbs Up Geoff

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

On (rear ?) calipers go for both. Usually one side goes a bit earlier but the second side will follow.

In Holland I noticed that usually one side of cars was worst off and it is the side that is usually parked towards traffic. My theory was it is the road salt and crap that cause it. Maybe that is the same with the calipers, why one goes quicker.

On the colour coding, IMHO you just got it right. It looks awesome !!!! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

^+1. Thumbs Up

But I agree with VeryDisco that the edges of the grill in black look great on a black car.
