Wheel binding?

Washed the car and noticed more brake dust than expected on offside rear wheel some of which is ingrained (heat i suspect) also after a short run disc etc.is warm others are cold, guess this is the brake binding. Is it an easy fix, I always thought they automatically adjusted - any help appreciated on both sorting the ingrained dust and freeing the brakes Thumbs Up Geoff
