New Member of the Fraternity

Hello All.

I've just moved into the FFRR world from the Freelander (was a member on Freel2.com) and before the Freelander had two RRSs. I've just bought a 2010 TDV8 Vogue SE in Buckingham Blue with Ivory. Approved used from my local LR dealer and bought instead of the new RRS, which to be honest was a tad too much even for my reasonably deep pocket! I saw this car up for a price half as much as the RRS new and that was it, job done. Mrs S was with me too and she loved it from the off.

The car is great, got all the toys and hopefully will be a joy to own over the next few years. Still, its a LR, so I know there will be be some gripes along the way.........

First immediate concern is fuel. I'm about to go to Scandinavia in it (Denmark, Sweden and Aland Islands). One thing I saw in the hand book was don't put anything but pure diesel in it, especially not E85, which (so they say) will cause engine damage. Anyone got any knowledge of full fat diesel availability in the Baltic region?

Second initial thought, is there any way I can tell if my car has a DPF. Its a 10MY, but a 3.6 not a 4.4, registered by LR themselves first off.

Thanks folks

The DPF's were an option on 2008MY but as the 3.6L engine obtained EU4, it generally wasn't fitted.

So to answer you question - maybe... Laughing 10MY TdV8 Ipanema Sand
