MY 14 build

Hi all,

Can anyone advise when the MY14 build will commence? From memory, it's about aug/sept but we all know how they like to keep bringing the dates forward on new model years.

Cheers

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Aintree Green

I saw somewhere that start build date for MY 2014 was 7 May (and I noted it to check if my build would be 14), so that would fit with current deliveries being MY 14. Norman

Aug/sep will see the start of MY 14.5 which I understand wil probably see more changes again. I have waited for this in the hope that most of the original bugs will have been ironed out by then.

Land Rover are no different to most other makes: see list at http://www.edmunds.com/model-year-changes/2014/ (US list). Those are on-sale dates - most are "mid 2013" on sale, so build dates are earlier still. Been like that for quite a few years. Norman

Car companies always seem to be on the lookout for preposterous names for colours. Why not suggest 'shire muck' as a name for a new colour.

Cheers guys,

Although I think I'll stick to a more traditional colour!

Anyone ordered a S/C yet? Any idea if they are restricted on lead times like the diesels?

I've put some feelers out, some potential prompt spots coming up maybe, will know more tomorrow I think.

Cheers.

I have one on order but I have specified that I don't want to take delivery until the beginning of next year. I want a MY14.5 and also want to sell my 2010 during the coming winter in a hope of getting a better price for it than I would during the summer months.

We are currently loading orders for 14.25my, I would think 14.5 will be fairly soon

What are the spec changes between MY14 and MY14.25?

Nothing spec wise compared to 14my (we're already on 14.25my for New Sport as well!)

If I was to place an order for an L405 3.0TDV6 Vogue with you today, when would I expect delivery?
