Roof trims

WANTED: Hi all. I am looking for the roof rail covers that sit on top of the roof and cover the grooves where the actual full length rails sit. My new SC has roof rails fitted, and I want to remove them and replace the normal trims, but as usual, Dick Turpin in the parts department wants £150 each +VAT and paint. Mine's an 07 SC in Silver.
Also I am selling the chrome side tubes, that are fitted to it.

Any help or ideas greatly appreciated
Cheers Thumbs Up

Crikey - that's steep !

I replaced one a couple of years ago. I bought it via Dan at Duckworth's. It cost nowhere near that - but can't remember exactly how much - £30 springs to mind though.

They are easy to sort but only come primed, so you'll need a tin of paint also. Make sure when you order them that you get the clips as well as they appear to be sacrificial.

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

i know. They can b****y well stay on at that price. I'm going to look at breakers, but know they'll need to be painted.
Maybe the price hike is due to non stock and non production parts now. Blame L405...
Everything in Berkshite seems to be expensive Laughing
Good job i'm selling my wotsit on the street corner.....need to to pay for them ! Rolling with laughter

England 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

DBC000022LML Right hand strip primed
DBC000032LML Left hand strip primed

Seem to be about £90 plus VAT each unpainted!! Probably easier to try and make some black blanking plates to fit in the holes.

Prices seem to have jumped massively in recent months on all LR parts. Tom

Just checked the part no. against the box I have in the garage from when I bought - it was as per Flashman.

I've found out why it's so expensive as the label states "MADE IN MONACO" . . . perhaps you can use them as chips in a casino there ? Rolling Eyes

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
