Mick, I thought he was selling you a new iPhone 5 WITH iOS7 preloaded? Why would he be asking for your UDID number? That's implies he wants to install iOS7 on your phone sounds iffy to me!

If he is selling a new 5 at a sensible price then take it as its easier to set it up as a new phone with iOS6 regardless what firmware it has!

Contrary to my earlier post I couldn't resist the latest version so have installed it on my one and only iPhone 5 today and really quite like it yes the eBay app doesn't work and I'm sure there are plenty of other apps that will crash but the main parts of the new operating system are a refreshing change

I can't believe there are actually people on the net complaining about the eBay app not working though it's still very much work in progress and not due for release for at least a couple of months! So iOS7 does come with a health warning

Biggest issue i've found with it is that sometimes it REFUSES to hang up a call...
