United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black
Front Air Bag Strut broken after 19000 miles

Dropped the FFRR off at the local Indy this morning as Ive noticed a knocking coming from front suspension. Nearly all the suspension has been replaced on both sides over the last 2 years such as bushes and arms etc even the air bag struts.
They have just rang to say the passenger side air bag strut has gone! It was replaced on 17/9/2011 due to it leaking air and it was replaced by an OEM part at a cost of over £400.

Ive spoke to Dan at Duckworths this morning and he helped clear up that there is only a short warranty on some parts. Thanks for your time this morning Dan. Much appreciated.

With OEM parts that were fit i have been told they come with 12 months or 12000 miles warranty whichever comes first.

Ive done 19000 miles and its ready to be replaced. The Indy i use feels my pain and has kindly lowered his fitting fee which i am very grateful for but has anyone else had similar problems on such an expensive part? 2003 Range Rover HSE 3.0 TD6
