EAS faults ahhh the joys .....

ive had no suspension activity for about a week with all the colourfull lights on the dash , so after the initial idea of scrapping the thing for being a pain in the a5se i relaxed for a couple of days and tonight thaught id investigate further soooo i got my freind to pop over with his auto logic diagnostic equipment we plugged it in and found that there was no communication between the EAS ecu and the dash instrument ecu so stripped everything down to get to various interior components had a rummage and found the suspension compresor doesnt sound right when we finnaly got it to work so im thinking the EAS pump in worn out but im still having a problem with comms as he can access every other hardware device except the EAS

so has anybody got any ideas regarding the comms or an exploded diagram of the EAS pump workings as i might strip it down to see if anything is broken

somebody help me Thumbs Up onto no6 Range Rover

An EAS activate (google it - from USA for about £100) will read and clear any EAS fault codes and is a great job.

I'm having problems with the EAS myself and would also appreciate an exploded diagram of the compressor if one exists. Thumbs Up

I believe the pump itself is very similar to the P38 and Classic pump in terms of its internal workings, so a diagram from the others might set you off on the right direction?

Perhaps now would be a good time to look at aftermarket air compressors? On a related note, I wonder if an X5 Compressor would work?
