puddle lights

hi has any one changed the puddle lights on the mirrors, i have the small round lamp and not the large square one,

Ireland 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

I was looking at mine today. You just push a small flat screwdriver up on the outer side of the light/mirror Neutral and pull it down it is just clipped in. My lights are rectangular. Hope this helps.

hi, nothing in the owners book, i have the small round puddle lights, i have seen the rectangular and yes they come out easy...i dont want to start pulling or even taking out the mirror, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Maybe something on the BMW forum? Just a thought, but those early mirrors are the same as those on the X5 of that era. Java with Ivory 2006 4.2 Supercharged. 23.5k miles - NOW SOLD!

Not sure I've ever seen the round ones, any chance of a pic?
I should imagine they either clip in if they're flush or screw in if they're proud of the mirror underside. Has to be one of the two. Discovery 4 HSE

2003 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Java Black

I also checked the owners manual re this as I want to change to brighter LED bulbs like the 2010 models however nothings listed.

I haven't tried to take the bulb out as yet, I'll have a go this afternoon. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

They should do. Use the rheostat on your dash and have a look at the ones around your courtesey lights - they fade as you reduce the voltage. Thumbs Up

So you should be okay. Java with Ivory 2006 4.2 Supercharged. 23.5k miles - NOW SOLD!

hi, this guy has done it, its on the x5 but they are the same mirror, he changed them for led and said they are much better.
