Wobbly mirrors

Hi guys ,I have an l322 with mirrors that don't fold in .i know that one is broken but now the other is floppy.i would like to know if a temporary fix is available .i was thinking of putting a big screw into the bottom of the mirror to hold them in place Will this work.? I just need to find 2 reasonably priced mirrors ,coz new ones will cost about £800. Any more ideas would be great until I get the cash together. Cheers tony
