It's an old family photo (not my family) and he can't remember what car it is.

It's not me in the pic, but I still dress the same way - jacket, cardigan, color and tie. It's a classic look that still makes the girls go crazy.

A 35 had the bigger rear lights I think, the 30 had them next to each other and the 8 had them above each other. The upright parts could have been an aftermarket item. Isn't that a Dutch licenseplate?

The crease in the boot makes it look like the standard 8, the logo lettering is a bit of a give any ad well Very Happy

I agree that it's no an Austin but a Standard.

Now lets guess the year, I would say 1957 and th chap standing next to th car has obviously just passed his test although he does look about 60! 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze
