^ I think this is part of the reason I prefer the around town "drive" of the V8 compared to the SC. If your poodling around taking kids to swimming lessons or just blasting up to the Shell garage the kick in the back response is immediate and the sound awsome.

The SC on the motorway and A roads is another matter altogether though....

Setting the vehicule heights is only the tip of the iceberg as far as upgrades and monitoring this little device can do. Search a bit more about it and you'll soon figure £300/400 is a great deal for it! Thumbs Up

Very nice!! Thumbs Up I've also just bought an '07 S/C and really adore the thing!

On the exhaust, I personally find the muted, but noticeable, growl really suits the S/C. It's definitely old-school V8 but in-keeping with the understated RR looks and image. This is just my view, but give it some thought before you make the change.

The steering wheel upgrade is very worthwhile. All I did on mine was replace the black spokes for brushed chrome. That only cost me £45 and an hour of my time. I've just added piano black window switch covers but need to see how they look after a few days before my mind is totally made up on them.

As my S/C was owned by a footballer, I already have tints on all side windows. I've already discovered they keep a lot of heat out of the cabin, which is good.

Another upgrade, if you feel so inclined is a supercharger pulley upgrade for better low-down grunt. My '02 4.4 V8 was far sharper away from rest whereas the S/C feels a little flat until prodded a bit.

Thanks again .... it funny you should say about the S/C feeling flat and bering in mind I have only test driven a 4.4 and a TDV8 and i never test drove a S/C Embarassed and the only time I got to drive the S/C was after the fight to buy it and as Prop knows it was a fight and not a pleasant one but I have experienced what you described about it being flat , now the one thing I did notice while driving home last night .... when doing 30 it felt like it was jerking , a really weird sensation ..... so many things I want to get done and one its getting them done right because I am fussy and would rather pay extra and get a proper job ..... this is driving me nuts , apart from the fact I already am nuts.

Cheers

Dave

Welcome to the forum Muttley, you've stumbled upon what must be one of the most eclectic forums there is!

It's good to see that you've adopted the FFRR habit of leaving your testicles hanging on the indicator stalk.

This will stop the dealer taking them off you when you take the car for a service! Whistle

Liking the 2 tone interior, as it's the same as my TDV8. I think yours is only the second one I've seen that is "that way round".

Pig to keep clean, but really brightens up the inside!

Thanks for the nice comments Thumbs Up

It was my friend Prop who found this car and i have to say I love the colour combination and no kids the make it dirty , my daughter is 28 and moved out 3 years ago.

So its only me or the Boss ..... the back section is having a built to order dog cage for the whole area for the rear of the car.

So far am very happy with it ..... will be happier when i have had it serviced and I get that first scary bill and quiet of few things I want done to the car .... have yet to find out how much it will all cost but I am under no illusions. Whistle

Cheers

Dave
