It was a serious question.. How does 'one' disguise reg numbers when posting pictures like this please(apologies if my perceived flippancy put off any replies)... |

I gave up reg numbers are not exactly hidden in real life. If I wanted a number from a Mini or a Range Rover or anything I could wait 5 minutes on any main road pavement. |

I would only hide the reg number if it was on a track or severely off road or something that may potentially affect resale value. |

Mac: Nothing extra needed, it takes a few seconds to do. In iPhoto, click "Edit", then "Retouch". drag the cursor across the plate and the number disappears in one stroke. Click "Done". Export the pic. PC: Don't know. Someone will be along to tell us. i bought a pair of those, (SC) they look ace on my silver car too. word of warning though, they use special bulbs, silvered glass with a blueish hue, so when they are 'off' they reflect a funny reflection colour, but only if you stare at the light when off.. and the bulbs are expensive too. about £10 a pair! and the orange ones arent orange either. (when off) again, £10 a pair! they come with bulbs in. (well mine did) the side reflectors being red are different to the old type, but as i have a front conversion kit to fit, (plus chromed dome orange bulbs) with the orange side reflectors (both unremovable) so i have a car set. consider this too. - my old ones were mullered. |

I agree with the back lights, but you don't have to go supercharged. 2006 on models had a white indicator, but retained the red lower light. This looks better i think and there are more on eBay! As for your leather, gliptone is good stuff, but if its scuffs then it will need re-colouring. An upholsterer can do this quite cheaply. I had a seat bolster done a couple of cars ago (fat owner, not me!) and it was around £80.
