Just had my year 6 inspection 1 service at LR. They didn't change the fuel filter (TD6). Is it normal to miss this off? Is it an inspection 2 item or have they forgotton?

Hmmm, doesn't look like it on the invoice. Must be an inspection 2 item. I might change it anyway it looks a bit crappy. My Previous RR's!

I found the same thing on mine, looked like it had never been changed so I swapped it when I did a service of my own, it's easy to do, but read my thread before you do. There's a special jubilee clip fitting on the hoses, might be worth getting 2 replacement standard jubilee clips to put on afterwards.

The filter hold quite a lot of fuel, so dispose of it sensibly, don't keep it as it's full of crud.
