They're only open 9-5 Monday to Friday as well - that put me off more than the cost, so I went with Bell Auto Services instead. Got lots of good reviews at the time and IIRC, Pete gave me a £100 forum discount too as there had been a previous group buy |

JE remaps get tested thoroughly on real roads and adjusted accordingly so that they will run better outside of a "we knocked it up on a dyno" approach some companies take. The super cheap remaps are often done without being run on the actual cars, they just tweak a few things like boost levels and fuelling and hope the ECU adapts. I highly doubt JE would risk their reputation by doing the same thing.

If they do it by post how can it be a remap for your individual vehicle?? It will just be a generic file uploaded to it surely? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

they send you a ecu reader, you read your map then email it to them and they then send you your adjusted map which you upload to your range..the ecu reader is then sent back to them.. ... - .- -.

Surely you only need an individual map if you have changed from OEM parts though?

£700 for extra bhp seems a lot of money when you consider that a tdv8 can provide you with a fair bit of power in its standard form..if its for an eco remap then you would have to do a fair few miles to re-coup that kind on money....
