Scotland 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver
Wanted: Vogue up to £10k

Hi to all

Ive been after a Vogue for the past couple of months now and havent really had any luck so Iam thinking Iam not trying hard enough or just too fussy!

Iam a bit limited to the colour looking for silver, black or grey but never say never to others I suppose.

Diesel or LPG and obviously willing to travel just about anywhere for the right one.

Cheers Thumbs Up

Unfortunately yes although Id love to have a bit more and get something newer realistically it should really be below £10k so I can afford to insure it and get home Mr. Green

There are a few on ebay
like this one...but I think it's a fraud, pics stolen from other ads. 2007 interior on a 2003 car???

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-RANGE-ROVER...198wt_1115

have reported it but nothing happens.
But there are a few LPG cars below 10K

Na, that's a duffer.
Facelift front end in the first pic, none-facelift in the third.
Forth pic is a different interior to the other photos - centre console & door cards from a later model.

When I was looking for mine I started off looking for a TD6, and like you my budget was under £10K.
The good ones up here tend to go very quickly so I started thinking;
1. How many miles do I actually do each year?
2. What's the difference in MPG between the TD6 & the 4.4 petrol?
3. With there being around 10p a litre difference between petrol & diesel, how much of a real saving am I going to make by getting TD6?

I came to the conclusion that the 4.4 wasn't going to be that much more expensive to run each year and you get more power for a cheaper price, so that's what I went for. Mr. Green

I like the engine, it's smooth, quiet (the wife didn't even know the engine was running one day, until I pulled away Laughing ) and I'm getting 17-20 MPG.

Mine had 78k miles on it, full service history 3 owners and it cost £8500.
There are quite few around Glasgow so it may be something worth looking at. Wink

That does make sense and I must admit I had ruled out the petrol unless lpg through pure uneducated fear of it sitting on the drive whilst fuel prices get even higher.

In an ideal world yes petrol would be best although as you say the diesels seem to sell much easier which would be a bit of piece of mind if only hanging on to it for a year or so.

There also seems to be a debate if lpg is even worth it now considering its rise in price.

At this rate Id be happy to just get something as off on holiday in a couple of weeks and would like something to polish Mr. Green

Here in France they are discussing the diesel prices. Because diesels are much more polluting as petrols they are planning to raise the tax on diesel to petrol price level. It is stil a proposal but it can go that way everywhere.
I hate al those stinking diesels so for me there would be only petrol or lpg. Pricewise the lpg cars are only interesting if you make miles and miles. Because mine did 6/7 km to one liter of petrol and 4/5 km to one ltr of LPG. The advantage is distance. You can make a lot of miles with a full LPG and Petrol without filling up.
With an 80 ltr donut I made about 200/ 250 miles.

By the way, what is "somethiing to polish" does that mean you want a RR from Poland?
