So I have been persuaded to cycle from Fort William to Inverness, that's fine but staying in hostels - that's not me. Any other options that you good people on here are aware of? Geoff |

For the Fort William end I would recommend Inverlochy Castle and at Inverness Culloden House |

Total nightmare in the summer.. I remember being at Lochgoilhead a few years ago and it had been raining but really muggy I don't think I've ever seen so many midges in my life. We met up with 2 french tourists who were hoping to tour all over Scotland but couldn't cope with it and were making there way back down South as quickly as possible....ruins so many west coast holidays.
