The car is clean! No outstanding finance, no recorded accidents, 1 owner from new with verified mileage!!

So, on this basis it’s a bargain!

I just hope it doesn't disappoint when I see it in the flesh tonight.

The only downside is that it’s black interior and I really wanted ivory/ cream..but hey if it really is a bargain then I can live with black leather!!

Just an update post viewing.

Well the car was as tidy as the photos. Paintwork was immaculate and interior ( although jet black) was in excellent condition. Rear seats were basically untouched. just serviced 4K miles ago, new Pirellis all round 6 months road tax.

The only downside was that the mileage was 5K more than first stated (104, 000 miles) but HPi shows one owner and its had full service history at Stratstone Mayfair.

So on the basis of seeing all the service history paperwork which I couldn't see tonight I have provisionally agreed to buy it for £16750....eek!!

Sounds like a good deal but I'm telling you now that you'll miss those lux seats.

Regarding the jet interior. Like you, I wasn't that much a fan of the colour (same as mine after coming from Oxford blue, tan and walnut) but it does grow on you. However, may I suggest replacing the black steering wheel spokes with the 2010-spec brushed chrome for starters? Easy job and cheap to do.

I'd also strongly consider piano black window switch surrounds (when Powerful UK ever re-stock the bloody things!!) as a further lift.

Lux seats?? Think I'm missing something!!

The black leather is growing on me, but I just feel its a bit gangsta style! Have visions of being pulled every couple of miles by drug squad!!

As for photos I've uploaded a couple to my gallery but obviously doing something wrong as they are all upside down!!!

Picking the car up Wednesday...one bonus is it has the FBH installed as well ( which I thought was an extra on the Vogue?!?)

The lux seas were fitted on 2002-2006 Vogue models. You can tell as the backrest adjusts for rake at the base as normal and at shoulder height so the seat effectively curves around your back. Most comfortable!! Si. <This is my name.
