Slight clunk on pulling off

I have noticed a slight clunk on taking my foot off the brake and pulling off. Its not the solenoid on the gear lever, it feels more driveline or brake related.

Its only slight, but definitely there, feels almost like a bit of slack in the front diff/prop, but dont think that is a known problem with the tdv8.

Anyone had a similar noise....? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

if it's coming from a corner, it could be the brake protection plate coming loose. See JOE 90's excellent pics and write up today.

How are yer brakes?
Sometimes as the pad wears thers a gap and as ye take foot off brake the clunking is the metal in the calliper.
Just a thot and an easy check Made in Scotland frae 'Girders'

Rears are spot on, fronts need changing soon, which i have new pads for might do the discs too.

Its not the back plates they are all solid. Im going to try and get a sec to change the brakes this weekend coming, see if it cures it and have a wiggle of the bushes and ball joints whilst the wheels are off. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
