I find that very offensive.

A car show without scantily clad young ladies - terrible.

I found this courtesy of Google. Not the same as pictured in Dubai but quite close.

Makes it look like a Morris Marina.

My old man used to help some Bahrienis convert classics to hunting (hawking) brakes, with a big standing platform in behind the front seats. These made much more sense.

Shame no one has tried without the window frames as I think that would look much better (but harder to waterproof with roof up) and the roof needs to disappear into the boot area. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

IMHO a FFRR is just not suitable for making it into a convertible I'm sorry to say. There are plenty cars that look great (Jaguar F-type, Astons, Ferrari California etc. etc.) in convertible mode (usually less so with the roof up, again IMHO).

For me (to stay with the original photo) a Murcielago Roadster is absolutly gorgeous (both open and closed) unfortunately it is extremely unlikely that will ever be able to buy one EVER.

I just wish that these idiots stay away from doing this to cars that just don't look good open but then again, if there is money to be made doing it, you can't ban people from doing it or buying it. I think I should become a (relatively) benign dictator of the world, at least that way I can ban this sort of stuff, together with a whole range of other idiocy Smile So when I start my campaign please all vote for me and send me money and I will put a stop to this Smile Rolling with laughter MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

He should have his right to RR ownership revoked!

Well, it can be done. Okay, it's not an FF, but this to my mind looks absolutely fine, and the same treatment could easily be applied to the new model, even if not the L322:

I don't think any four door convertible works, unless you're talking about some dictator-mobile.

The possible exceptions are ones with the back doors hinged at the rear, but even the Phantom convertible doesn't have 4 doors.

I've seen a picture of one with no door tops and just a roll cage (from the Gulf somewhere obviously).

Edit - like this:

The Evoque would be funny if they weren't planning to make it.
