My ff's 100k birthday

She just hit the magic 100,000 mile mark!

She's actually on a 04 plate but I'm a barber in Surrey so when I found this no plate I had to get it!

Lol! It's had it's few problems up to date but with your help all has been resolved!
So far it's been a very happy ownership!

Next thing on the cards is the amp upgrade from Baris! (When I get round to removing it from the car and sending it off!)

Is there anything that really needs looking close at, at this mileage ??

Just had a full service! What oil change interval would you recommend? 6/7k??

Can't remember if you have done a gearbox oil & filter change but that could be next up (unless 'box has been renewed recently), thermostat ? and airbags (front) or compressor are probably the next issues for you but you have to wait for them to go Wink

Then there are all the suspension bushes, front and rear, drop links, power steering, steering column in and out, FSR, blower motor, another new battery (Wink), door handle cables, gear linkage, rear wheel arch rust, burst radiator, cracked expansion tank, FBH glow plug or fuel pump, transfer box motor, fuel rail and injectors, parking sensors, sunroof drains & sunroof operation, handbrake cable, sticky brake calipers, rusted tailgate strops, missing pixels on dash.

regular stuff like brake pads, antifreeze, wiper blades, headlight bulbs.....

Happy motoring Smile .

Not a bad list. Pretty much what to expect on any high miler whatever makes lol. Just prepare the cash or platinum card. The time to attend to it all would be the most PITA, taking leave and time off etc 2006 4.2 Supercharged Java Black - loving it every moment behind the wheel even at 14 mpg!
