Think LR do a rebuild kit including a new valve stem for about £10 per sensor.
Potentially saving the dilemma of the TPMS light coming on.
I guess you would have to consider the age of the sensors due to battery life.
It may end up more economical to buy new sensors.
Of course when you buy off eBay you don't know if your buying an old sensor fitted with a new valve stem.
Dan @ Duckworths supplied me with 4 new ones, they synced to the car with no problems. TPMS light straight off.
Glad I went new in the end, peace of mind when it's £5-£10 per wheel for tyre fitting and balancing.
Edit: sorry just seen you already knew about refurb kits. That paragraph blended in with your 'signature'
Had it, loved it!
