Which phone?

I'm now due an upgrade. I've got an iPhone 4S now. My list are iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4 or the Samsung Note2? Does anyone have experience of going from apple to android? Any input would be great. I like my 4s but not sure if its worth the haste just to move to a 5? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Or get the HTC One just recently launched clever what you can do with that , don't get it con fuddled tho with the HTC One X Thumbs Up

The HTC One performed fairly well in the web browsing battery test. It outscored all other devices in the list by surviving for an impressive nine hours and 58 minutes. The web browsing life of iPhone 5 was a couple of minutes less than the HTC One.

The result was equally impressive in the video playback test wherein HTC One's battery life was closer to that of its main rivals including Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5. The HTC One once again stayed for over 10 hours in the web browsing test, although it could not match the video playback time of the RAZR MAXX at 16 hours and 35 minutes.

The endurance test showed that the HTC One has a battery life of 48 hours which means users need to charge their handsets only once in every 48 hours.

I have a Galaxy S3 and love it. Upgraded from the Galaxy S. Note is too big for my liking. If I needed a new one right now, I would go for the S4, probably the best smartphone out there at the moment. Android and Samsung, the best combo IMHO. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

How easy is it to get music from iTunes onto Android? I know Apple and Google don't get on in the buisness world. Does android have an App Store sort of thing and iTunes where you can buy music on the device? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Simple, but tedious, the manual move is a straightforward method if you just want a few choice tracks. Connect your Android phone and select USB Mass Storage Mode from the Notifications drop down on your phone or the pop-up menu on your computer.

This method varies from device to device and it could be labeled differently on yours. Once you’ve found it, you should be able to go to Computer on your PC and see your device listed. Browse to the Music folder on your Android and then you can select files directly from iTunes and press “Ctrl+C” to copy them and then “Ctrl+V” to paste them into the folder on your phone or tablet. If you’re on a Mac, download the official Android File Transfer tool to move files.

I've got a load of music I've purchased via iTunes so I'm sure Apple will have done something which means I can't just drag and drop? But I have never had an android device so have no idea what's easy and what isn't. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

I thought upgrading from a 4S to a 5 would be a very small step, but after handling a 4S recently it does make you realise how much nicer the 5 is to use. It's a very progressive and evolutionary improvement and very subtle, but noticeable, in what it does better than the 4S.

Or go down the Google route ….

Another option is Google Music. You can move your iTunes music into your Google Music account in the cloud and then you’ll be able to access it anywhere with any Android device or on the Web.

You’ll need to sign into Google Music, download the Music Manager, and install it. When it is installed and starts up, it will ask where you store your music and you’ll see an iTunes option.

Select iTunes, hit Next, and then choose “Upload all songs and playlists,” or you can select individual playlists. There’s even an option to automatically upload songs that you add to iTunes in future.
