Suspension knock is no more, silence is golden | |
I've had my FFRR for 14 months now & much as I respected it.
The car had a very slight clonk when I bought it. It got louder every day. The only thing wrong was the anti roll bar drop links. So I bought a set from flea bay & fitted them. Exact same clonk still there, so I went on to change most of the joints on front suspension. Noise still there & it was so loud that people on the pavement looked round when they heard the bloody clonk.
The car was even put on a mates MOT suspension shaker & no matter what we did we couldn't find the fault.
Now to bring it all up to date, I checked the car for MOT & noticed that the rubber seals round the afore mentioned drop links were perished. So I bought a pair of Bilstein ones fitted them today & the clonk has totally gone .
Moral of the story is do not buy cheap anti roll bar links, pay the extra its well worth it.. The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!
When women say fine a mans in deep doodoo as fine has so many meanings.
