Sounds doubtful as I have tried to drive carefully on Motorway only and only registered about 31 mpg and that crashes when you leave the motorway.... |

My driving pattern is a mix of town and motorway. |

That's "Combined" in my book and you say you get 40 mpg when it should be 25 mpg? (I get 23 mpg combined) |

A long run between St Albans and Redditch (and back) - I only had 4 roundabouts in the way and with the exception of about .5 mile at either end was on either a M'way or DC and although there was traffic I never had to slow down (other than road works). I was on the phone most of the way up and cruising at about 60 so I was trying to prove a point on the return journey. It was a very dull journey! However, I have just come from a Merc CL500 so there was an element of the novelty factor of doing anything more than 25mpg! |
