Had a slightly scary moment on the 275 mile trip down to EuroDisney...

As I'm on the lovely fast A16 toll , hardly any traffic, so in cruise 140km/h for at least 45 mins...

1) Petrol being guzzled at fair rate, so range is ticking down...
2) Light comes on, next petrol stop 15 miles, should make it fine, as range is 50 miles
3) I can feel a slight 'chug' , Mrs then says ... 'Is car chugging a bit?.." Confused

It took 95 litres (€159) to brim tank, so car had no more than 10 litres left in the tank ?

Really hoping that it was just dregs at bottom of tank and not a precursor to something nasty!?

Please reassure me and cross your collective fingers? Bow down

Revs were smooth, no nasty smells or noise, temp normal. Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I ran out of petrol a few months ago even before the orange light came on. Still not sure what happened but since then I keep the tank "fuller" before going for fuel.

Do note that I replaced the entire fuel pump assembly since then (due to all kinds of other issues and a very cheap fuel pump assembly coming up on Ebay). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
