Bonnet Latch

Dan,

My bonnet latch cable has gone again and in the same location as the first one but this one isn't that old!

Is there anything specific to be aware of when refitting at all? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

A while ago I was checking mine and the outer cable had jumped out of its bracket while it still worked. The inner cable would bend a bit too much if that is the case so I refitted it and made sure it can't go anywhere. Maybe the same happened to yours. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Yip all free John Smile

I dont need to even pull that hard with a pair of pliers on the remaining cable.

The only related thing is the slot the safety release locks into has a piece of slam plastic missing which means you can't just drop the bonnet as the safety latch doesnt just slide in but thats not a related sub-system of the normal bonnet cable... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
