CD not a selectable option?

Hi everyone

Am hoping for some advice please.

My 2004 RR has a 6 disc changer which happily ejects the cartridge and runs through the process of checking each disc in sequence.

However when I scroll through my display options I only have Radio or Tape.

Anyone any ideas of how to cure this.

Many thanks

Tried that sadly no change.

Not really sure what to do for the best.

Have taken glove box out and checked obvious things such as connections - no sign of trapped/broken wires etc

I had the exact same symptoms on a 2004, turned out it was the internal gubbins in the CD had failed, I managed to find a replacement on eBay. It came from a guy who was breaking BMW's up, I'll dig around a bit and see if I can find his web site.
