spark plug gap 4.4

Hi folks looking for a confirmation of plug gap for 4.4 petrol. I have Bosch plugs factory set at 1.6 mm or 0.063 for those whobwork in old money.

Thanks folks.

Thanks folks. I guess ill just fire them in as supplied so to speak and report back here. I tried a search and found info on classics and lpg conversions but no factory standard 4.4 v8. Fitting 1.6 mm Bosch as supplied . Thanks all MY2010 TDV8 Vogue Ipanema Sand

As long as you've bought the right plugs, they'll be right and are impossible (just about) to adjust. They are multi-cathode plugs and the gap is between the curved side of the centre anode and the curved end of the 2 or 4 cathodes around it.

Well here is the happy ending.

Changed to plugs this afternoon, they were supplied by euro cat parts under their l322 4.4 menu (bosch). The spark plugs are not adjustable as the posters pointed out to me.

Car is running nicely.

Thanks to all contributors on this thread. Thumbs Up MY2010 TDV8 Vogue Ipanema Sand
