Morning guys, this is my first post, please be gentle.

Any idea how I can find out what colour my bonnet lettering is?.

I went to my local dealer to enquire and was told they would be ordered to the VIN and would just arrive as the correct colour!.
Does this sound right to you?.

The reason I ask is that at some point, the previous owner has changed the lettering, but only one word!.
The outcome is the "Range" is dull, faded and messy, and the "Rover" is more silver and looks relatively new, combined it looks garbage.
The letters on the rear of the car match and look quite grey. Brunel grey?.
The car is a 54 plate L322 Vogue 4.4 in Java Black.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest JOKER, the Word Range looks so bad it's hard to tell.

It looks similar to the worn steering wheel spokes, where to top coat has worn through to the plastic base. "I got him boxed in like a turtle's pecker!".

i'd take them all off and get a complete set of dan @ duckworths [site sponsor] ... - .- -.

I was thinking the same, but I would love to know which colour to get to match to the rear of the car.

It's either that or re-badge the whole car which will cost a few £££.

If I do re badge though, I would also need to change the tailgate trim, or it may stick out like tits on a fish!. "I got him boxed in like a turtle's pecker!".

Regarding the tailgate strip if you mean the one above the number plate i would just take it off £5 tin of spray paint from halfords spray and 3m tape it , stick it back on …  ====================================

They will likely be brunel grey. I would change front and back with newer silver and remove strip at rear and spray as I did to mine. Alternatively just change fronts to brunel.  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
