Hi I have a WD policy on my 2007 tdv8 I had a alternator go and they paid out no problem |

Did they pay out full value for genuine part or did they make you have an aftermarket alternator? |

I am paying £800 or thereabouts, It is £800 and change but cant remember the exact figure! That is for full main dealer labour rates and had some extra cover level in it. |

I am away at the moment and haven't got the range rover with me but from memory it is about 850 ish |

Yep, I know WD of old and they failed to cough up on the only 2 claims I needed to make with that car. Since that time I only ever use main dealer sold warranty. If they sell it then they can sort it out when stuff goes wrong.
