Probably, there are plenty of similar cars knocking around at the moment. If bought as long term keepers (at least three years) they are really quite a bargain if you are VAT registered. After all everybody wants a last of breed 2012 Vogue SE L322 don't they...

Yes it is a factor but then cars over three years old come with no warranty unless you buy one... :

These cars are similar price to 2 year old used.

Is a warranty worth £20k

It all depends whether they are European spec, as otherwise there will be no certificate of conformity so they cannot be registered in the EU.

I guess if it was easy someone would have snapped them up and sold them on with an aftermarket warranty by now?

I think they are German Cars with African Spec so probable EU Certificate of Conformity.

Not worth anything without unless selling to African buyers and that's a possibility!

Wish I had that kind of money lying around although RHD is no use over here, it's hard enough driving a LHD

They could be interesting for SA as they has RHD and import duties are high. So these cars should be cheaper for them then a "normal" new one.

On the basis you can buy a 2012(12) 4.4TDV8 Westminster for £57000 from Land Rover USED with only 3k miles and near full warranty the £55800 inc VAT for the Africaans no longer seems such a good deal....

what's "built for the African Market" meant to cover, spec-wise?
