Hi Dan, hope you don't mind me adding to this post.

i have just had the FFRR serviced today and was given a couple of advisories for my front brakes.

i just can't justify paying the labour and VAT for someone to change discs and pads so when i have saved a few quid i would like to buy all the bits myself and fit them.

what is the going rate for front pads, discs and is there one or two sensors?

i have a 2007 TDV8 with Brembo calipers.
